in the playoffs, get rid of the traditional ECF and WCF and just have a final four, with the matchups determined by regular season record. (keep the first two rounds of the playoffs the same.) there are two benefits: 1. best two teams will probably play in the finals. 2. the top teams will compete with each other all season for final four seeding. get er done cf
