The Sixers are exploring the idea of shopping Evan Turner.
I think that he has the potential to become a very good player (maybe allstar one day) whereas Parsons will never be more than a good player.
    Turner plays SF (and SG.)
I would be OK to bring this guy as we send Parsons ans Morris or Jones to the Sixers as they are looking for a PF.

They are the same age but Parsons has not been in the league as long as Turner and yet his numbers are just as good. Exactly what is it about Turner that makes you think he will be better than Parsons when he clearly is not at this point? Your just asking for a trade for the sake of making a trade. Your proposal makes exactly zero sense. Based on performance vs experience Turners cieling is not higher than Parsons.

I didn't say the guy was garbage but if the Washington Wizards GM thinks Parsons will be an all star caliber player and values his contract the Rockets should trade him for Martell Webster and their 1st round pick (unprotected). Or try to get an unprotected 1st round lottery pick from one of the other bottom feeder teams for him.

Parsons trade value is worth more to the team then him being on the team _ just like Lowry...

The problem here is it would be hard to upgrade Parsons without gutting the roster. The way he's playing right now, only superstar guys like KD/LBJ or franchise guys like MKG are definitely superior to Parsons at the SF slot. And those guys are pretty much untouchable or would require a ton of assets to get from another team.

Rather than upgrading his position, it would make more sense to upgrade the PF position, since really that's the weakest position we have on the court right now.

Turner is not better than Parsons, otherwise why would the Sixers be shopping him? The Sixers just traded AI away so if they really thought Turner was the **** they would keep him.

Also I like how you put a ceiling on Parsons when it's only his 2nd year and he's the same age as Turner. Parsons also happens to be playing way better than Turner right now. So why does Parsons have a limited ceiling while Turner is a future all star? LOLwut?

Why will ANY GM think Parsons is worth an unprotected top lotto pick and a very good player in Webster? That's even better than the package we gave up for Harden. You think their fanbase wouldn't cause a riot if the Wizards traded that package for a 2nd round pick two years ago?

We got a 1st round pick from Toronto for Lowry so it's not like it's outside of the realm of possibility because Parsons is much more valued...

And that would be good for Washington especially if the Rockets throw in one of there other forwards (Jones, D-Mo, Aldrich, Morris, or Smith) and Douglas in the trade and or throw in one of their 2nd round picks as well. Cleveland might would go for it also.

I wouldn't say that. Don't forget that Turner had to sit behind Iggy for most of his career. He has a better 3 point shooting percentage than Parsons and he's a better rebounder than Parsons and he has handles and can dish as well. So it's highly possibly in this run in gun offense he would put up better numbers than Parsons.

Philly gave Holiday a new contract and they probably want to offer Bynum a max deal...

But if the Rockets want Turner I don't think they would have to trade any of our starters to get him..

PG is supposedly his true position but he can't play there as they have Holiday.
