Tmac was a 3 for all practical purposes. Robert Horry was a 3 also.

This is what happens when Texas messes with it's history books.

Lewis Lloyd might have something to say about that .... He never missed a game over three seasons and scored double digits in each and every one.

Oh, I'd put Chandler ahead of Battier right now. Parsons is the whole package. Battier was terrific in certain areas of the game, highly intelligent, a student of defense, which showed on the court, a solid shooter of the corner three, a coach on the court, but give me Parsons everyday and twice on Sundays if a choice must be made. I'm comparing Shane's play with the Rocks, of course.

Too early still to compare Parsons to Reid and McCray, IMO. Folks forget how good they were. It's still early for Chandler, who should continue to improve, and has his career before him. Horry should be in the conversation, as well.

Rudy T played power forward although I do think Parsons has a ton of potential.

Funny about Rudy T and small forwards. When he was coach he kept trying to draft the next Rudy T (lanky white forward who shot the 3 pointer).

    Mirsad Turkcan.

    Bostjan Nachbar.

    Dan Langhi (Damn Lanky).

Yeah, Parsons is on his way for sure. The fact that he's doing it without a great player on the court with him is even more amazing. What I realy like about Parsons is its not to big for him. Some guys, the game gets too big and they tend to play small, but Chandler isn't one of those guys. I'm not ready to put him tops, but if he adds a pull up to his game and keeps improving,he will be. In terms of across the league,he can be a boderline all star and maybe even make it a time or 2. He's the most untouchable rocket aside from Harden to me.

My thoughts exactly. Robert Reid was the best SF if you're looking at impact to Rockets winning success, especially in the 80-81 season.

He was also crucial to the Rockets making it to the Finals in '86, playing point because Lucas was out of the league, and Leavell was hurt. Incredible.

Reid was a very, very good player. Total winner. If Parsons winds up as good as him then we've got something special. If Parsons winds up better than Reid then he's a superstar.
