WoW. What a tight a$$. Cool of Ray Allen and Paul Pierce to come up afterwards and offer to take pictures.

What about that dude that just wanted to get Kim Kardashian's attention?

I'm more glad than ever he is the worst Owner/GM in the history of basketball....

What goes around comes around... now hes divorced and the worst at his current job than anyone has ever been...

After being hailed as the greatest basketball player to have ever been born then obviously he's not going to be humble. The NBA is partly to blame for that. Stern rode his dick so hard.

Jordan is a cocky douche. I've felt that way about him for a long time.

Jordan's Hall of Fame speech did enough to indicate his true jackassery.

He licensed his own image and brand and held his name out of video games and such. He's all about whatever he can get, and everyone and everything around him is his direct competition.

That's why Hakeem is the GOAT for me, then Jordan. Because he's the best in his position and off the court. Nobody should be surprised Jordan is a douchebag, it's a well known fact.

I hope LerBon doesn't grow to be like that. He's a man child and has done stupid things in the past, but I heard he was pretty approachable in person. Truth?

I'd like to see what Barkley does when Jordan has one of his jackass moments -- Charles and Vernon were two of the few NBAers that would get in his face.

The Barkley and Jordan are like polar opposites when it comes to fans and approachability.

Dude, I am so sorry -- I just bought you a year of Clutchfans Platinum for my terrible error in researching this thread.

Damn, I feel lower than a snake's belly in a wheel rut.

    Michael Jordan is an asshole.
Kobe is condescending and may be a dick on the court... but he's nothing on the level of Jordan.

I hate all that is Michael Jeffery Jordan

This is old news, but I'll post a reply to it either way.
This happens in every job type of environment. A person moves up the ladder and their ego just gets bigger and bigger. Not every person can handle being at the top of the "so called food chain" of their respective career. As another poster noted, I too have read and heard stories of what a douche M.J. was/is. It takes a strong person to have so much and remain humble, and M.J. is by no means humble. There is a difference between being competitive on the court, and being humble off the court. Hakeem Olajuwon is humble, David Robinson is humble. I have never bought nor will I ever buy anything Jordan for the simple fact that he made his brand for his own benefit and no one elses, by this I mean, look at Shaq and making low priced shoes for under privledged kids. M.J. was too big, that he didn't allow EA to include his name in video games for a while, he had his own lame games. If you want to make money, I'm all for it, but stay humble and understand that a lot of people look up to you and if it wasn't for them you Mr. M.J. would be nothing. So pay some respect to the people that made you, not saying to sign every autograph, but decline with class.

I saw MJ in Lake Tahoe at a casino a few years ago. I said something nice and didn't even ask for a picture or autograph, but Jordan was very rude and short with me and his 'posse' shoo'd me away.

Oh well, it was still pretty cool to see him so close to me.

That's why I think Lebron has a lot of undue hate. You see him in interviews and he is always humble and playful. Yes he's made a lot of mistakes too but that's just being human. I can respect that. You can tell that when he retires he'll remain that way and will be very approachable with interviewers and fans alike. I can say this even though I REALLY don't like him as a player.

I'm very disappointed with all these Jordan stories coming out of the woodwork. He was my idol growing up and these accounts really diminish what I think of the man. On the other hand I didn't really like Barkley during his playing days because of his bullish behaviour, but now I love watching him on TNT.

I think out of the two Miami stars, Wade has more potential of a MJ syndrome than LerBon. He just fell for his own hype and that's what happens when the whole country hypes you up while you're still in high school.

Thank God we have Hakeem to look up to. If I wasn't a Rockets fan, I would have been a Jordan fanboy and be extremely disappointed by these accounts. Now I'm just like, psssh, Hakeem is better.
