    Curious, does this mean he has to divest from his ownership of the Shanghai Sharks. Or do owners of the CBA teams rotate this position?

    This is a position appointed by the sports bureau, not a celebratory position among owners. He's withdrawn from the Shark's board and will sell his ownership stakes next year.
    He is now the Basketball God in China. Hall of fame in the same year, no less.
