Wanted to take a poll on which Verizon phone I'm mulling wins the CF popularity contest. Can only do so much with reviews, almost all of which are biased (sometimes heavily) by the writer.

Yes, Verizon, so the obligatory wah wah T-Mobile/ATT/Sprint snarks will be disregarded out of hand. You too, diehard Cricket fanboy.

Battery life and camera quality mean a huge amount to me. Screen resolution on a sub-7inch display not so much, but brightness in sunlight is certainly a perk.

I'm NOT asking which phone is spec-ed out, I can read specs and know them. I'm more concerned with user experience and satisfaction (and the above). Moto X got my attention with their heavy emphasis on user experience.

I've got plenty of Apple products, and don't have a big need for a redundant ipod touch that makes phone calls.

Was originally waiting for Verizon to offer Moto Maker so I could get an X in Rockets(-ish) colors, but am pretty intrigued by the Note3 and One-Max as alternatives.

iPhone 5s seems to be a nice upgrade from the 4s and 5. I'm loving mine. The battery life seems legit finally.

My next phone is going to be an iPhone. I like the Note 2 but I'm getting tired of it.

I'm not arguing over best or worst phone, (the argument is crazy to me) but having other apple products seems a reason to get an iPhone not go away from it. Apple products sync together seamlessly and shares info.

To those who say its inferior, well I'm not in a position to join that debate since it's the only phone I've used for the last 5 years. It works exceptionally well and absolutely never has any issues. Super user friendly.

My last phone other than an iPhone was a blackberry, the iPhone was such a huge improvement and was so simple to use and such a great product I've never had the desire to try a different phone.

Like I say I can't say if it's the best, worse or somewhere in the middle. All I know is that I've been exceptionally happy with one version of it or another for half a decade. Plus I have an Apple TV and IPad which are perfect companions to the iPhone.

Are the ringer volumes on most phones 100% independent? I mean for example if you turn down the volume for something else, then forget to turn it back up when you're done, the incoming call volume will still be just as loud as you originally set it.

Otherwise, a dedicated physical volume wheel/dial on the edge that you could make sure it's still at the top just by a touch, without even turning it on. Instead of buttons.

iphone. Was never really an Apple enthusiast and never owned an iphone until recently when I got the 5s. Best decision ever. So easy to use, fast and a great battery life.

I'm thinking about getting that monster Nokia 1520 Windows phone. lol. Unfortunately, there are a couple of apps that I don't see on the Windows platform, but it shouldn't be a dealbreaker.

The Galaxy Note 3 is hard to fit in your pocket with its 9" screen.

Guys, seriously, I'm not getting an iPhone. Not turning this into a fight, but I've got 0.0 interest in purchasing one. Between my iPad mini and iPods, it's completely redundant. I like the Android phone experience.

Thanks for the Windows mention, DoD. Hadn't considered it previously.

if Camera quality is important than the Lumia 1020 has the best phone camera on the market. The only cam that's close is the 5s but you said your not interested in apple. Those two phones kill any Android phone in pic quality.

Androids sync together too. its called Google. 1 google account can be synced together with nearly anything, not just one proprietary platform.

I have an S3. Sweet phone, but it has its problems. It feels cheap and it is cheap. I have handled the S4, and while its a slight improvement, its a repackaged S3.

The Note is just too big.

I am not confident in the HTC brand. I certainly wouldn't overlook the HTC One Max though.

I came from the Droid X. I was eying the Moto X before my S3. If the Moto X has the same build quality as the Droid X and performs like the S3, I would go for it.
