Celtics or GS 12th man is as good as our 6th man? We need 9-man rotation deep in the playoffs.

We are the best team in the nba by a big margin with 65 wins and Morey won Executive of the Year Award by a big margin.
EG is basically a starter now. I take a look at the Celtics and GS rosters, and it tells me that Celtics and GS 12th man is as good as our 6th man. Celtics can improve the rosters by trading 3 first round picks: Kings, Grizzlies and Clippers.
So how can we get the best quality depth for our rosters?
Man, this offseason is so confusing!

So Jerebko = Luc or EG?

Hmmm... I believe I've found a flaw in your statistical analysis.

This is why I could not believe some were just willfully downplaying the Ariza loss. Our rotation simply isn't deep enough.

Sure. Get a bench. Dan Tony will ignore it.

They have a 9-man rotation that will shrink to 6/7 when/if they play Golden State. ;)

    Code:
Kyrie Irving Kevin Durant James Harden
Al Horford Stephen Curry Chris Paul
Gordon Hayward Draymond Green Clint Capela
Jayson Tatum Klay Thompson Eric Gordon
Jaylen Brown DeMarcus Cousins PJ Tucker
Terry Rozier Andre Iguodala Ryan Anderson
Marcus Morris Shaun Livingston Gerald Green
    Marcus Smart Jordan Bell Nene
Daniel Theis Jonas Jerebko Michael Carter-Williams
Aron Baynes Kevon Looney De'Anthony Melton
Semi Ojeleye Quinn Cook Vince Edwards
Guerschon Yabusele Patrick McCaw Zhou Qi
Robert Williams Damian Jones Chinanu Onuaku
Abdel Nader Jacob Evans RJ Hunter

Ariza's getting old anyway a healthy Luc is way better. I didnt want him to leave but now its for the best, after starting for so long Arizs's not gonna come off the bench (as we have seen with Tony Parker in Sas).

Bench is...er, was fine. Teams always shorten rotations in the playoffs. Our problems were the injuries to Paul and LMM, the fact that Nene was a terrible matchup against our opponents, and Anderson's massie funk. Paul and LMM would have given us a solid seven, and we could have sprinkled in Green, Nene, and Anderson based upon who we played.

Losing Ariza really challenges that depth, though.

Obviously not, but Jerebko is a quality player. I'm not sure we will have a quality player that deep.

    Warriors....................................................Boston........................................Houston
    Curry................................................................Kyrie..............................................CP3
    Klay T..............................................................Smart(guessing re-sign)................Harden
    Durant..............................................................Hayward.......................................Tucker
Draymond........................................................Horford..........................................Melo (I’m guessing his best option)
    Bell (until Boogie ready)...................................Baynes.........................................Capela (I’m guessing re-sign)

    6)Cousins.........................................................6)M Morris...................................6)EGo
    7)Iggy...............................................................7)Tatum........................................7)Luc MaM (I’m guessing re-sign)
    8)Livingston......................................................8)Jaylen Brown............................8)G Green
    9)Jerebko (guessing McCaw bye-bye)............9)Rozier........................................9)Hartenstein **
    10)Looney........................................................10)Ojeleye..................................10)Nene
    11)Cook...........................................................11)Yabusele................................11)MCW *&*
    12)Jacob Evans (R)..........................................12) Robert Williams (R)..............12)Ryan Anderson

** Hartenstein looks good enough to get 10 to 15 minutes here & there, much like Jordan Bell did with GSW last season.

*&* MCW- Morey has a plan for him, but I remember Jeff Adrein and Ish Smith getting cut at the end of a pre season.
    Could 1 of Melton/Duval/James Ennis/D House/Trevon Graham/Nunnally/V Edwards get guaranteed
money & slot in place of MCW?

All three teams will be top notch. Right now the Rockets are not a finished product. Bell/Looney/Cook should be
improved and I have a feeling Houston was interested in Jacob Evans (6’6” 2-way playing wing).

As per above rosters........I like Houston over GSW’s & Celtics. Marathon season could change things.....
might make things easier as well.

Side note: numbers are not meant to indicate order of importance

Warriors are 8 players deep, then it gets dicey.

Celts are 9 players deep, then it gets dicey.

Rox are 7.5 players deep (the half is for Gerald's offense), but if we get anything of value out of Ryno/MCW (not likely, but not impossible), we're right up there.

Besides, Morey's great at adding depth. I'm just worried that the Clint/Luc stuff will get dragged out so long that the pickings with get slim.

9-15 don't matter - cause MDA aint playin em anyway... you saw last year - GG went from his couch to the rotation bc there were 5 or more guys MDA simply would not play...
MDA's playin 8 guys, if somebody gets injured - then he's playin 7... lol

not true at all. rotation went 9 deep atleast in both the minny and utah series.

What shouldnt be a surprise by now is GS makes many guys unplayable. so obviously the rotation was different.

Rotation gets even smaller without Luc. Terrible offseason.
