I mean I was one of the first guys on him for the Battier trade, but man this guy is a true winner. Wherever he goes, success will follow. His numbers don't jump at you, but his impact on a team is beyond words. Lets all not forget how he got Tmac and Juwan here in the first place. We traded Steve Francis, Kato, and Mobley. Steve is a shell of the player he once was, and his making 16 mill while rotting on the Knicks bench, same with Kato. Cat has been very inconsistent in LA. If you think about it, all Orlando has left from the Tmac trade is Ariza. Sure they have some cap money, but they are going to need a lot of that to resign DHo. And then the little moves along the way, bringing in Bonzi and Kirk for nothing, trading Piatkowski for Deke, drafting Luther, drafting Novak. I guess the only move we still sometimes regret is Rafer for MJ, but who knows, maybe MJ is just not a the type of point guard this team needs, but clearly Rafer should not be playing 35+ min, and we still need a backup. But all in all, Carrol Dawson has done one hell of a job!
True, but at the same time we havent gotten out of the first round in 10 years.......just sayin, its a good job, but not great just yet......lets wait til the playoffs....same goes for JVG.....this years playoffs will tell all
I don't understand why people still missing James. He's not a winner. He got good numbers last year because that was a contract year for him. Rafer is doing just fine.
what was Atlanta GM thinking... and dont forget bringing Weatherspoonl, charlie ward, mark jackson...
The 3 games we won in the playoffs in 04-05 were games that James played well in. In fact, he outplayed Yao in 2 of those games that we won.
