Horry also believes the number 25 should have been retired already.

When Parson came, I thought he could be a poor man's Horry. Parsons is turning out to be a rich man's Horry.

Why? Seriously, why? Rob't was a good player, a piece to two titles. Sean Elliot would have been an upgrade.

In '96, with everyone hurt but RH25, instead of stepping up Horry stepped back.

Sorry, Big Shot Bob, you have a warm spot in my Rockets heart. But so do many others.

Agreed. Parsons can do a little bit of everything in an efficient way. If he can play great D we're very good shape.

    Maybe, but sounds fine.
    Silly poll BTW.

No, you're not a poll expert.

The poll was based on Horry's statement of possible glue guys.

It's about glue, if it was plastic, i'd pick augmon.

Not so fast. I like Parsons, but Horry's defense was significantly better than Parsons (stealing the ball, blocking shots, and altering shots), and offensively, though not smooth, Horry was arguably just as effective (or at least almost as effective). And Horry never stopped the ball or overdribbled like Parsons can do occasionally. I would argue that Horry would be every bit as good and possibly better than Parsons. Parsons has to continue to significantly up his game to surpass Horry. Compare their 24-year old seasons below (Horry's 3rd and Parson's second):

Not sure about this season, but last season the glue was definitely Harden because whenever Harden had the ball it "got sticky" (McHale words, not mine)
