Bottom line here is not about the third team, it is whether Cleveland is willing to throw that Brooklyn pick or not. No one is going to take their **** contracts just like nobody would take our **** contract. They have one good asset, we didn't have any.
I think that's what the 3rd team is for. Flipping that Brooklyn pick for maybe two young players and Cleveland keeping one.
That Brooklyn pick is quite a gamble, could be anywhere from 1-8, seems like all the bad teams are all equal. I wonder what kind of young players are actually available. Maybe Aaron Gordon and Hezonja, then swing Jordan to Cavs, Gordon and Hezonja to Clippers, 1st to Magic. I think Cavs would want both young players, that would be a decent haul I guess.
This is so typical of the Cavs btw, they always think they. An buy their way out of their problems. Always high price vets. Never a shrewd G league signing or player development or fixing the problem in house.
Cavs need to find some way to dump Isiah Thomas, he is a disaster out there and LeBron seems to openly hate his guts. His defense could be camouflaged by the Celtics last year but on a bad defensive team like the Cavs it instead gets highlighted. It's tough because he went from such a feel-good type story to the odd man out in less than a year - but that's what it is.
if lebron is staying then they someone needs to help them get dj. i dont want the warriors to have another easy playoffs with just us challenging them. l for the sake of nba basketall, help the cavs get dj!
Cavs are offering TT, Crowder, and the right to swap picks for DJ. Cavs also talking to Hornets about Dwight.
lmao ok....why would clippers want to swap picks with a team who will finish higher than them LOL and oh yea here's some terrible contracts for an expiring LOLOL
They can't send out the Brooklyn pick now, having sent out their own pick in the Lakers trade. Assume Love would be part of the trade.
At this point just trade whatever they haven't already traded. Based on the moves the other GM's have made, I'm sure they are willing to give him away for minimal return.
