IT makes the Cavs even worse on defense. Warriors gonna blow Cleveland out by 30 a game in the finals this year.
That's a great haul for the Cavs. They still keep their title hopes alive and if LeBron leaves they get a great pick to rebuild.
Yeah, Crowder is a starter on most teams. Not a throw in, I think for that reason alone Cavs are better. IT and Kyrie are kind of interchangeable tbh.
crowder not gonna play that many minutes to make a difference with lebron playing the 4, love, Tristan kardashian, and frye. And the nets pick is not going help them this year.
to me, IT is an older version of Kyrie who's not as proven in the playoffs, but he can give them most of what Kyrie did, and now they have a defender that they can put on KD so that Lebron doesn't have to defend him nearly as much
they can just start Crowder at SG and move JR Smith to the bench where he belongs the Nets pick can help them this year if they decide to trade it since it is a very valuable asset, and it helps them in the future if Lebron decides to leave since it will likely be a top 5 pick and the top of the 2018 draft is stacked...they'd get a very nice prospect to kick off their rebuild
Crowder too slow and stiff to play SG imo. And it still doesn't fix their interior defense problem. I don't see them getting anybody good that can really help them (against golden state) for that pick this year unless they really pull something out of their ass
Cavs need to trade that 2018 pick for another star player that Lebron would like to play with and then work on resigning lebron and IT next year BUT Ainge is cheap!
