Who cares about Keenum? We have Watson now.

I am a UH fan, and I always thought he would do well given the right circumstances. Well, it has happened, and that is why I care.

Oh shoot I didn't even know until you said that I had to look it up. I mean I was hoping I was wrong in my judgment but the Texans and our great owner prove me wrong again SMH

I think this play elevates his stature. And there was some luck to it. But it bought him the visibility and credibility that he never had before. He led two scoring drives in the last 3 minutes of a playoff game to take that lead. I think he will be considered legit now. His cards on ebay went from $5 to $40 in one week.

Vikings fanbase seems to have banked hard against Keenum after last night.

    Pretty dumb.

i really think an opportunity to give the qb spot back to bridgewater was in the back of a lot of their minds including the vikings personnel.

Sure, blowing a shot at the SB just to get Bridgewater some snaps next year. Brilliant.

not really, then why when bradford was healthy, they activated him to be the backup QB, and not bridgewater.
I think sam bradford starts next year for the vikings.

This thread isn't about the Texans and isn't in the Texans forum. It was created in 2010 while he was at the University of Houston. You asked this question four days before he played in the NFC championship for the Vikings. No one was clamoring for him to return to Houston. They were talking about his season in Minnesota.

Keenum deserves to be a starter somewhere next season, but it probably won't be Minnesota. They're not going to keep icing Bridgewater. He wasn't good in the NCF Championship game, but their defense and offensive line were what really let them down.

I really don't get the Vikings' thinking here.

I can understand sticking with either Keenum or Bridgewater, but chasing Cousins... wtf?

His price tag will be enormous and the production will only be nominally greater (if at all).

Give Keenum or Teddy a reasonable deal and move forward with your very successful blueprint.

Depends if they think Keenum was purely a product of their now-departed offensive coordinator. We know their coach either hated him or has some weird motivation techniques as far as how he treated him all season long.
