He's done this before involving a bet with the Raiders I believe but he just came back.

You mean the defense, the special teams, and a coach or two need to show up in the second half. Case doesn't tackle, run back kicks when they shouldn't, or miss field goals. He has run the plays they called for him, well. He has made very few mistakes. He isn't the problem at this point.

Amazing how many starting qbs came out of this draft. Just look at the 10 guys Gruden brought in for this segment:

    Andrew Luck (Stanford)
    Robert Griffin III (Baylor)
    Kirk Cousins (Michigan State)
    Nick Foles (Arizona)
    Case Keenum (Houston)*
    Kellen Moore (Boise State)*
    Brock Osweiler (Arizona State)
    Ryan Tannehill (Texas A&M)
    Brandon Weeden (Oklahoma State)
    Russell Wilson (Wisconsin)

    (*undrafted)

Clearly the key to success is being in the presence of Chuckie...

first 2 games in his career against two great defensive teams and possible super bowl contenders, 620 yards, 4 TD 0 int, the kid can play, even if we part away with him after this season many NFL teams will be knocking on his door for a starting job.

I don't think you can learn anything by holding a clipboard on the sideline. I think those days are over. It's all about on-the-job training now. You get a good QB with potential, you get him out there and play him. Let him learn from his mistakes.

The Carr situation was a little different because it was an expansion team with an expansion O-line. And the fact that he sucked.

Moes is rooting for Case. He sent me a text about it before his first start.

he should be getting the same amount of love that wilson and Colin get. Those teams are built on Defense and a strong running game. Our defense is suffereing, and the running game since case has been starting has been hit with casualties. He has had to do it with throwing the ball.

Case can make all the reads and throws with more umff that we've been accustomed to. Really needs a safety blanket for the all out blitz, though with newton it always seems like an all out blitz. having a healthy O.D would have been nice.

its only been 2 games, and i hate to say it, but us coogfans told you so....we watched him play in college and knew that all he needed was a chance to prove himself....will he continue to play at this level? maybe yes, maybe no, but knowing that he's always striving to make himself better makes me believe that he will be successful in the NFL

those two made the Playoffs and won games in the Playoffs. Case has played two games and both were losses.
