    Carrie Fisher was bipolar. I used to date someone with borderline personality disorder; not the same thing, but a nightmare nevertheless. My ex would self-medicate with booze. She also was taking prescribed anti-depressants that semi-zombified her. I can completely sympathize with how mental illness affects the individual and those around him or her. Add the mind-f*** of mega-fame on top of it? Tough to imagine.

    She will be missed. To be honest, probably my first celebrity crush.
