theres no contradiction there... saying hes not worthy a roster spot means a roster spot on the winning teams... while he is nba roster worthy on a tanking teams and so is any player in the world because losing games is your goal
Blazers were projected to be among the best 6 in the West, now they underachieved, doesn't mean they can't get back to it. Season is still more than young at this point.
