Bagley is going to be in for a rude awakening. His defense is really, really bad and I don't think physically he is able to ever be even average on that end of the court.
@justtxyank is slick.. capitalizing on another summer of Melo with expert thread branding and visibility. smart.
His defense will probably be lackluster but it's hard to not see him be at least a high level role player. Elite rebounder, finisher, and motor will serve him wonders. On topic... 538 sucks with their predictions/models tbh. It honestly holds no weight for me. But good optimistic thread though
Yes 538 isn't very good. We will see on Bagley. I don't think he is a bust that is out of the league in a few years, but I could see him have a Drew Gooden type of career. I think there were better players on the board that the Kings will regret passing on. Who knows, maybe Bagley develops so well as a shooter that he is a quasi three that gets 25 a night.
I think he could be better off as a 6th man. Better than Beasley in the long run. Although, his defense is poor, and probably isn't likely to improve much, he does have the potential to block shots.
No. Silver was about the only one who gave Trump a chance. His site's method of aggregating quantitative and qualitative data is pretty solid, actually.
