Tucker is our starting 4... Melo gonna be playing 4/5 for us off the bench. Arguably he’s a solid defender in the paint.
youd have to wait and see with Luc as well, last time he came from injury he wasnt nearly the same player
I actually agree. After that injury i don't trust he will consistently be the same... see Carl Herrera.
this is gonna be an entire summer long marathon just like last year. okc doesn't need to buy him out till aug 31st. we're gonna have a whole new round of potatohead, sauces broussard, steven A -- the whole gang of media scrubs yapping back and forth frothing at the mouth wasting away our summer again. this was supposed to be the summer of george
Honestly, I doubt Melo would be willing to come off the bench if he can choose where he goes as FA. Miami can offer him the starter role to play alongside Wade and both will prolly retired after next season. That's if Melo is getting ready to hang it up. If he's not than he will be playing for his last contract and that starter role and playtime would be important to him. Judging from his past actions, he value money over winning. If we can offer him a starting role, which I don't see why not as we got no one better at 3, he should sign with us.
"Seen my guy Melo had to tell him." RIP English language Can't help but think this sounds exactly like OKC fans last season, who were all putting themselves #2 in the West with the Rockets at 5 or 6.
Depends on if he wants to be a starter with 45 wins in Miami or a starter/bench combo with 65 wins in Houston.
Difference is OKC lacked a real system and the fit was terrible because Russ cannot play without the ball.
Look at the video of Harden, Paul and Melo playing pick up and tell me when OKC ever shared the ball like that. Then watch Russ in that same video lol dude has tunnel vision but he is talented. Factor in Paul George who they used in isolation a lot and it was doomed from the start.
I don't think Russ ran a "pick n pop" with Melo one time in OKC. CP would be doing that every night, tbh.
