People are trying really hard making the others warming up to this idea.

    I'll take a look when it's settled.

Tbh the more I watch his highlights it isn't his offense which will be a problem for the rockets. He rarely played isolation basketball and played more of a catch and shoot role in OKC which would be great here because he could fulfill it well with us better than Ryan Anderson who started for us this season. The offense for OKC definitely sputtered but I mean theyre system was pure garbage with Russell not really being a pass first point. His defense in the highlights vs GS though is worrisome especially vs Klay and KD. He doesn't run through the picks and is very half hazard in his motions like Harden. If we stagger him and play him like a bench spark with EG I think he is valuable and could make us just as good as last year but a starter with Harden would be terrifying. Of course he can't hold the ball offensively but it doesn't seem like he did an excess of that from what I saw.

Somewhere between option 2 and 3, a bit closer to 3 than 2 imo.

See, something to understand here with the Rockets is he wouldn't have to run through picks because of the Rockets defensive system. They switch. The switching defense somewhat hides Harden's deficiencies of running through picks. And it would do the same for Melo.

These are the kinds of things that aren't noticed on the surface, but makes a difference. This is why Morey is bullish on Melo in the Rockets system. Better positioned offense for Melo and a defense that hides some of Melo's shortcomings.

I'm ready for all three options... don't care who option 1, 2 or 3 is if your open shoot or attack and shoot.

Rockets would win a lot of games with Olympic Melo as a leading scorer.

    Yes they would.

Really wish we could have kept Luke, but I will have to hope on the fact that Ennis will surprise us.

The bench will be capable of putting some games away.

Yeah with Ennis we really have to wait and see. Hopefully he plays hungry and consistently good.

Playing with CP3 and Harden, especially the future hall of fame pgawd, Melo will have the best opportunity ever to succeed. No question about it, and I suspect his production playing with our superstars will surprise the heck out of people.

man i'm f'n ready. how can anyone guard all three? you can't double team any of them without leaving one open. this offense is going to be bananas.
