Relationships are a massive need in professional sports sides. It's why I'm 100% convinced Carmelo will succeed here as it's where he wants to be.

 

I agree. Morey gets a bad wrap for being a cylon because he has a big calculator, but the guy values relationships, It's why there aren't many players that have talked bad about the Rockets organization after being traded or let go. I think Dwight is the only one.

The funniest thing is that Morey placed his trust in parsons . We easily could have declined to let him become an RFA , and kept for another year on his rookie deal . Parsons is a huge douche

The Rockets essentially gave him $15mil by releasing his last year at the minimum. People at the time were kept parroting the narrative that the Rockets did it to keep him but it was clearly a payoff for Fegan. And then Fegan and Parsons screwed the Rockets over for that favor.

Parsons can’t say anything about the Rockets cause the Rockets let him snake his way into a max deal a year before they should’ve.

 

If Portland wanted to trade Anderson in a 3 way trade. Why didn't we just trade for Harkless/ Leonard straight up?

Leonard is worthless vs Warriors but Harkless would definitely be useful then.

 

I think Meyers Leonard would have been a good fit. He can shoot 3's, long and can hit free throws.but I know he has a horrible contract, Paul and Harden would have gave him easy buckets. Capela was a league leader in dunks, the same dunks that ML can finish. Unless his BB IQ is lower than I know, his contract would not have been as toxic with us and far less toxic than Ryan Anderson.
