Nice human interest story about Carl's brother Marcus. I hope he can stick with the Celtics or some NBA team, not sure if he has enough game though to be something other than a marginal NBA player that will most likely have a short NBA career. http://www.celticsblog.com/2010/2/28/1328465/marcus-landry-the-story-behind-the?ref=yahoo
Great story. I hope he at the very least makes it long enough to collect some checks to provide for his family. Funny thing, he said he paid for the trip to New York, it was Carl that paid for it.
"so I went out there and paid for my own hotel and airfare" read it again. It's no big deal really. Great story
I guess he is pretty much saying it came out of my pocket. He had to borrow that money from his bro. The team didn't bother to cover it for him.
It says that he didn't have his degree six months ago, I hope he has it now. And to be playing with Ray Allen who he watched play as a kid in Milwaukee has to be cool. I get so tired of the DWI and gun toting stories about so many NBA players this story about a young, struggling, hard working husband and father is a breath of fresh air.
Yup, on the same day we traded Carl Landry to Kings. http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_5ed5ec070100hnvo.html~type=v5_one&label=rela_prevarticle Carl's blog in sina.com http://blog.sina.com.cn/nbacarllandry
I'm glad he's still keeping up his blog so we can keep track of him. CLANDRY#24 doesn't sound right at all...
