Car loan with bad credit?

Anywhere but the dealership....

Go to Lendingtree.com and pick whoever gives you the lowest interest rate.

 

If you have bad credit...don't get a car.

 

Why?

 

Not a good idea to add more debt when your credit sucks. Better pay off the other debts first.

Never used them but a friend of mine with horrible credit used them and got approved. The interest rate was horrible though but if you have bad credit the problem is you will probably get a bad interest rate wherever you go.

 

Unless you have resolved your old debts but still has bad credit rating.

 

He said his credit rating was around 500. I figured it would be worse than that. He said he had student loans, a loan from Gateway for a computer, medical bills, and a few credit cards that are all charged-off of defaulted. He said he was in the process of paying them off though, one at a time.
