    BTW, do NBA teams purposefully take r****ded pre-season promo photos, or is it just a coincidence?

    My Mom, who knows nothing about basketball, can only ID probably 2 players in the league ever: Charles Barkely (cause he was my dad's favorite player at the time) and Sam Cassel. It regards to the latter, let's just say once she saw that face, it was engraved in her memory.

    Yeah, it's funny but Cassel ended up as one of her favorite...she would ask periodically how he was doing on the court.

    Sam Cassell seems to stick well in my wife's memory as well, though mostly because his name is Sam. She refuses to believe he isn't a Rocket anymore.
