Cleveland is offering Kevin Love. Can we beat that? I'm not so sure.

    Haha but in all seriousness...

Butler is still under contract, not making any threats(yet), and the Bulls want real assets.

Pacers now are "forced" to accept what they can get or watch him walk.

No. That extra year means he costs double what Paul George likely does. Look at the Celtics draft pick haul .... you think the Rockets can compete with that alone??

Butler I feel will cost too much and others teams will pay more.

Paul George - One Year Rental, who has made it known he only has interest in Lakers (LA lifestyle) value: low

Butler - Under contract for 2 seasons and hasn't expressed desire for any single team or city lifestyle value: high

Can afford George, can't afford Butler.

You aren't getting Butler unless you are trading Harden. Not that the two are on the same level, but Chicago won't just give Butler up for peanuts.

No chance, Butler is locked on his contract for more years, the Bulls have still full control of him and they'll trade him to a team which makes a really good offer, we just lack the fire power to get a player in this situation.

Deserves its own thread. Preferably started by someone who's only been a member for a few months.

well then i hope paul george is bluffing about leaving when he becomes a free-agent, because that would suck to give up gordon, future draft picks, and maybe capela or dekker for him and him not resign

It's too bad that when all those stars have become available is when the Rockets have the least assets. I don't know how they can make a competitive offer for even George with what is in the asset chest.

    i'd do that trade.

ego, bev, dekker, 2 picks for PG13
get out of ryno's contract and sign cp3
trade harden for butler and rolo
move rolo, ariza, and lou for cap space and sign blake
vet min contracts for spieghts, cj miles, troy williams, nene, sergio rodriguez

    capela-nene
    blake-speights
    PG-miles
    butler-troy
    CP-rodriguez

3-peat champions, then turn off nba 2k.

    CP3 / Bobby Brown
    Butler / Lou Will
    Ariza / Troy Will
    George / Harrell
    Capela / RoLo/ Nene

Get some other vets. Maybe trading Harden was Murray's trick up his sleeve LMAO

His family left him homeless and now that he's rich all accounts are that they now have their hands out.

Can't blame him for not wanting to put up with that.

Le$ can relocate the Rockets to Tomball, call it the Tomball rockets, and Butler would sign for the minimum. Is it worth it?
