Tonight 11/24, we saw the Warriors basically play half their team with Durant and Green sitting out. This makes me think: Are the Warriors talented and deep enough that if they split their team into 2 teams, could those two half-Warrior teams still make the playoffs? The challenge is to split the current Warriors full roster into two teams as evenly as possible. The rest of the two half-Warrior teams are filled with replacement-level players relative to their depth. One team continues to be coached by Kerr and the other by Brown. How would these two half-Warrior teams compare and rank to actual NBA teams in the rest of the league? I think the Warriors are talented and deep enough that two half-Warrior teams would actually still be better than half the NBA teams and each would still make the playoffs.

Easily. Two all-stars per team (including one MVP-candidate each) is a playoff team. Remember the T-Mac/Yao teams with Rafer Alston, Luther Head, etc.?
