Assuming the Rockets want to actually keep Morris, and will try to play him at the 3, this means the Rockets are doing something that has been out of style for a while now, actually having a "forward" at the small forward position.

It seems to be an eternity ago when forwards were actually. McHale and Bird in Boston, Thorpe and Horry in Houston, Charles Oakley and Charles Smith in NY, to name a few. Portland and Detroit in the early 90s basically ran 2 scoring guards and 3 big guys.

It seems McHale wants to bring this tradition back. Think it's going to work?
