Can Dallas make the playoffs?

Sure. It is possible, mathematically. In reality, it is very unlikely. They probably won't finish dead last...some people just want that distinction more than them. The current trend looks to be the state of things for them this year.

 

If they make the playoffs Dirk would retire. We don't want that. We want them to delay their rebuild as long as possible

 

A 9-10 ppg Dirk won't keep them from tanking IMHO.

I haven't even checked the standings, but it's gonna be a no from me dawg.

They have some things going for them, and one of the best coaches in basketball, but the West is pretty deep and no way does that roster have the talent to sneak in.
