Caitlin Dennison and the Montgomery doorbell ringing

    You guys have all probably heard the story. I'm out of town, and have family in Montgomery, conroe, Magnolia, and Tomball and it's all they talk about.

    Mysteriois girl rings the doorbell in a gated neighborhood at three AM, looking to have shackles in her hand. She looks frightened. Only wearing a t-shirt.

    Before the owner can get to the door, she's gone. A girl named Caitlin Dennison's family thinks she's the girl. She's from Reno. Flew to Midland to meet a guy in January and hasn't been seen since.

    Today, there was a shooting a few houses down in the same neighborhood. I hope she was the shooter, or it wasn't related.

    This is like straight out of a horror movie or a Liam Neeson movie. I hope they find this girl. This reeks of some kind of dark web activity or sex trafficking type thing.

    Just as soon as I post this, the doorbell girl has been found alive and supposedly is not Caitlin Dennison.

    I hope she is found alive and well, but glad this girl has been found safe!


    She lived a few houses down from the house she rang. Apparently to was a domestic violence incident. Boyfriend killed himself today, thus the shooting. She was never a missing person.

    How did she live only a few doors down from the house with the camera and nobody notice her? It had to become national news before someone recognized her?

    Any updates on why she rang after the suicide and what the shackles were about? Creepy . Could be PTSD, hope she is able to recover

    This is two stories -- well, actually three -- so, hard to keep track of what happened.

    First story: The doorbell video occurred before (last Friday).

    Second story: The reason the first story came back up is because some guy in the neighborhood committed suicide (on Wednesday) and his suicide note made a connection to the girl in the Friday story. The guy who committed suicide left a note saying (at the least) that it was his girlfriend. But, she had left the area. The cops have been able to contact her, though, and say she is safe (back in Dallas with family prior to suicide).

    So, video is not directly tied to suicide. It's apparently a 5-6 day difference.

    (The Third Story is the now debunked connection to the disappearance of Caitlin Dennison.)
