http://www.profootballweekly.com/content/draft/draft_set.asp Ric, this is the second expert to project Mike Williams ahead of McKinnie, this despite Mike being hurt. Do you still believe thatt Williams may be the third OT taken?
Williams, despite a knee injury, had an amazing workout - 5.3 something 40 time (for a guy 6'6" 370), 32" vertical & such. McKinnie did a pitifully low # of reps on the 225lb benchpress & most think his "draft stock" has dropped below Williams.
Not to get off topic, but after reviewing Buchsbaum's mock draft, I'm still holding out hope that one of those top-flight WRs will drop into the second round...
Sometimes a post is so laughable that it does not merit a serious response, so I'll just say this: after reading a few of your posts the last 2 days, it's become quite clear to me that your knowledge of baseball & football is on par w/ your ability to fill out an NCAA tourney bracket. http://games.espn.go.com/tcmen/frontpage
LOL, he would have been the #1 WR picked this year if he came out as a sophmore. He's one of the reasons that nfl teams continually visiit UT's spring practice. Granted, his #'s weren't overwhelming last year. That can be attributed to his injuries (had surgery, can't practice even now) and at times, shabby QB play and play-calling. He's a stud. He has it all. You love causing trouble/ going against the grain at clutch city, don't you?
Roy williams is a pimp, and could be a number one overall pick for a wideout, and definitely top 5. He has incredible break away speed, insane size, and tremendous athleticism. Plus, the horns didn't exactly go run and shoot last year. They had a very good running game with benson, and a complete squad of solid wideouts, arguably the best in the nation by most analysts. You *COULD* spend time watching the games, rather than making up silliness on this board, kidrock8. But i don't want to put you through any trouble or anything.....
