Not sure what fast food connoisseurs we have here but thought it was interesting: http://www.bbc.com/news/business-39043749?ocid=socialflow_twitter
Pretty sure I will be able to go to BK/Popeyes one day and get a bucket of chicken and a whopper and puke it out in the restroom to go back through the drive thru and get some boneless wings and a 10 piece chicken nuggets.
"Love that burger at King Popeyes!" Translation: Bankruptcy, Death (cardiovascular disease) and Taxes
Soylent King...chicken nuggets tis made out of people's puke recycled from the bathroom of the restaurant (burger puke only please)
Spicy Chicken Tenders and Fries and a biscuit is the **** at popeyes. They better not mess that up for me!
Damn I love Popeye's but haven't touched it in a couple of years. @LCAhmed don't forget the coleslaw. I remember they had cajun fries too. This thread is going to ruin my chances of going to sleep. I need to just embrace spinach.
Burger King and Popeye's used to be in my top 5 big-chain fast food joints. Then my little sister, trying to earn money for a summer trip, started working at both establishments told me... things... NEVER FORGET. I eat much healthier as a result and only frequent Whataburger when I need a fix. I forbade her from getting a job at Whataburger.. it's all I have left.. I don't want to know.
This is no big deal. Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut have been combined into Yum brands and before that Pepsico for years.
At Popeye's: Even if the chicken started to smell they were still instructed to drop it in the frier. She saw her co-workers drop chicken on the floor then drop it in fryer. At Burger King: When you have a wrong order and it is left on the counter they scrape off the cheese and reuse the patties. This was a few years ago though. She was going on and on because she was shocked with some of the stuff she was witnessing because she ate there too. This was of course just one location at each establishment, but these were nice locations. There were other things she tried to tell me, but I had enough.
The chicken only started to smell, not completely rotten yet. And the fryer kills enough of the bacteria. Honestly, I'm not that disgusted. I'm sure I've eaten worse and I'm still alive, I think. Gonna get some Popeyes tomorrow!
The Burger King and Popeye's on Scott Street, they would clean up early, then run up and lock the door if they saw you walking up there within like 20 minutes of closing. That Popeye's is the only fast food joint I've seen with a bullet-proof glass or whatever.
