Martin is being held in reserve for a Howard trade. As an expiring deal, if he comes out and puts up his career average of 20+ ppg, he will be worth a fortune at the trade deadline.
7 footer who is a very good defender and very good rebounder. Expect zero offensive game outside of put backs and dunks. His contract is about what you would expect for a 7 footer with his talents.
Hennigan told you that? But if this is legit, thank you for sharing. I'm sure Dwight would be ok with LA, but do the Magic really want Hill, Ebanks, and picks in return? Seems odd.
How is LA the frontrunner when you say that Orlando doesn't want Bynum's contract? And Hennigen is the Magic GM, not OKC. I smell BS possibly
They want YOUNG, CHEAP prospects they can grow. Sorry for the misspelling. Ebanks' qualifying offer I believe is less than 2 mil. He is young and talented. Hill is drawing interest. It is an OPTION that they take one of the two, if not both. Ebanks has already agreed to sign the QO. Also, he was scheduled to be on the Lakers summer league team. He went back to LA because of "knee soreness".
Wow... these are the scrubs Orlando wants? Over our bonafide rookies? **** the Magic and **** the Lakers.
Would it be a three team trade then seeing as how Hill and Ebanks obviously aren't going to land Dwight?
NO NO! Not saying they want these guys in a direct trade! But possibly in a three way a piece or so will have to leave from LA! Bynum I believe makes 4 million less than Howard, so somehow they have to get the salaries out and in make sense. ORL loves the pieces the Rockets have. In love with Lamb.
thx for the insight. we are very familiar with jordan hill, and cannot fathom what the hell orlando would want with him. seems that LA would still need houston's picks and cap space to facillitate any howard trade. not sure how much i would want bynum though...
