There is a patern of ex-Rockets winning championships. Let's see? Mario Elie won it the year before with the Spurs and last year Robert Horry got another ring.

Not coincidence. It's Sam's turn. He and Jesus 'Ray Allen' Shuttlesworth will not be stopped.

I don't have much against Milwaukee, and normally I'd support them, but I don't want them to make it out of the first round. The pick they're sending over to us is disappointing enough as it is.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter how well they do in the playoffs, the pick stays the same, I could be wrong though.

The pick is based on regular-season record in the NBA. So if that's the reason you're rooting against the Bucks, then you can safely root for them now.

I would love to see a Bucks/Kings final. But I wouldn't bet on it.

The Bucks would win it if it wasn't for Philly. If the Bucks got out of the east, I think they could win it all. Those defensive oriented teams in the west just can't handle the Bucks' ridiculous shot making.

I have NBA league pass and I've seen the Bucks much of the season. Sam '2 years, 2 rings ' Cassell is out on a major mission since he got dissed for Me Myself and Marbury for the All Star game. Remember Cassell, Game 2 against Orlando for the 2nd championship?? He's been playing like that all season.

Also, i've seen the Bucks play against Philly. The Sixers have problems cause no one on the Bucks really plays the post, so Mutumbo is not a real factor. The shooters for the Bucks are too good. Ray Allen is also another awesome player no one talks about. He can catch fire really fast.

Otis Thorpe! I'd gladly trade Kelvin Kato for Otis Thorpe!

Rockets (this year) - Kato + OT = playoffs

I am going to make a very bold prediction for the finals: San Antonio vs Indiana

I see the Pacers doing the same thing the Knicks did a couple of years ago as the 8th seed going to the finals. Unfortunately for the Pacers, they will likely be playing Philly in the 1st round. I think whoever wins this series goes to the finals. I'm pretty sure it will go to 5 games.

I think the Spurs and Kings will be in the WCF, with the Spurs winning in 6 or 7. I'd bet on the spurs in the finals, but you never know.

BTW, the Pacers are my 2nd favorite team, behind the Rockets of course. I usually go for them in the playoffs when the Rox are out.

I will have taken my hat off for you if you mentioned Charlotte before playoffs started.

I dun think Charlotte will be in ECF. Mashburn will return to his old self after the Heat series. NY won't have enough gas bring them to the finals.

Whoever comes out of the East will lose in four.

And guess what guys...it won't be Philly or Milwaukee.

It'll be a Charlotte/New York Eastern Conference Finals matchup, with the Knicks winning in six. Then the Knicks will limp into the Finals after having taken every previous series to the limit and be blown out by either the Lakers or the Spurs.

That's the way it's going to be, put it in the bank.

You know what sets Charlotte apart, though?

    A team mentality.

It's silly, but seeing them out there...all of them with headbands on...just shows a kind of team mentality and spirit that is severely lacking in professional sports...especially the NBA. I think that intangible element is going to carry them a long way in the weak East.

Seriously, though, I really was thinking about Charlotte before the playoffs started....nobody was talking about them. And the way the bracket is set up...I thought they could beat the Heat, but I had no idea how badly. They also play particularly well against the Bucks. Who knows, ya think they might be able to take it all the way to the finals...so they can get they're eastern conference a$$es handed to them?

Not all of the Western teams have handled the lEast as well as the Rox. The Bucks are 8-0 against the top four teams in the Western Conference. The big efenders in the post just have no effect on them.
