    I'm a bit confused by all these contract leaks. How is it possible that these deals are being "negotiated"? Is it because the team already owns the right to that player and he is technically under contract just a second prior to June 30, 5 pm cst?

    Hill will also resign most probably.
    The 4th year tho..he's going to be 34..hopefully it is a team option.

    at around 13 million, his salary in that 4th year will be around 10% of the cap by then. Possibly closer to 8% with the way the cap has been rising.

    I believe teams can talk to a player's agents or representatives, but not to them directly. Either that or the NBA isn't serious about tampering.
