That is actually a very intelligent maneuver. They need to start reading body language habits before guys pull up off the dribble, how many dribbles before pulling up etc. Edit: they probably already do that.
It is interesting. If you recognize that your opponent is nervous, it give you confidence. It has it's limitations, It won't work on the Beard!
I got the impression they were starting from the draft and looking mostly for deception cues, i.e. reading their own (prospective) guys,not the other team's. I don't think the Bucks players are being trained in facial coding; at least, I didn't see that in the article.
I'd like to know what the facial coding experts make of the Heat bench responding to Lebron in yesterday's game. Yikes.
