Damn. Twitter gets another one. When will people learn?

This doesn't help the Sixers pursuit of LeBron.

I love Embiid. Hinkie would have drafted Tatum.

Hinkie blew most of his draft picks. Embiid was pretty much a no doubter at that position. He would have been the no. 1 pick if he wasn't made of glass.

Is this worth paging Cyberx for in trying to get a pulse on how this affects free agency...? But what if Cyberx is the secret 6th account of Colangelo...?

Sixers better deal with this very soon or they can say goodbye to any good free agent this summer.

Sixers to Investigate Critical Tweets Said to Be by Bryan Colangelo

    By Benjamin Hoffman

    May 30, 2018
Bryan Colangelo, the president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, has been accused of running several anonymous Twitter accounts, some of which were posting sensitive team information.

The accusations, which Colangelo denied, came in the sports website The Ringer. An anonymous tip led to an examination of the similarities among five Twitter accounts: which accounts they followed and the way in which their posts were phrased.

Often referred to as burner accounts, these anonymous accounts came to the forefront when Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors admitted to maintaining accounts from which he had criticized his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammates. The ruse was revealed when he mistakenly posted a reply from his main @KDTrey5 account.

In Colangelo’s case, the situation appears to be more serious than Durant revealing himself to have a rather thin skin to criticism. Some of the posts he is accused of making are fairly innocuous, like ones defending his clothing choices or questioning the contract extension of Masai Ujiri, the executive who replaced Colangelo with the Toronto Raptors. But there are also posts revealing sensitive team information, including Jahlil Okafor having failed a physical that scuttled a trade — something the team never publicly revealed — and ones criticizing the team’s own players, including Joel Embiid and Markelle Fultz.

Seems obvious that it’s him, so I don’t think saying “it wasn’t me” is going to cut it. I guess he has no choice though.

76ers should hire David Griffin. He could get them Lebron in free agency, re-sign Reddick for cheap, and trade for Kawhi without giving up all that much!

This is an incredible story. Absolutely great. Colangelo should've never been installed by Silver as the GM of this team and it always seemed like he fell victim to the Celtics' smoke screen about wanting Fultz at #1. They hoodwinked him.

You can criticize Hinkie's approach to building this team, but I always respected it because it was different and bold. He saw and exploited inefficiencies in the NBA's self-created system and has been effectively blacklisted for thinking too outside the box. Colangelo has been a train wreck everywhere post-Phoenix and represents dinosaur-level team building philosophy.

Sam was forced out because he embarrassed the NBA front office by so obviously tanking, and there was fear that it would call into question the integrity of the league.

Who did the NBA front office repeatedly "suggested" that the Sixers hire Jerry Colangelo as the boss of Hinkie.

Jerry Colangelo ran Hinkie out of town..... and surprise, surprise..... Colangelo's son, Bryan Colangelo takes over the club.

None of this is a surprise.... the NBA front office has a lot of control over the product.

To this day Sam is still black balled.
