So I'm guessing this means they go with Barkley at the #1 pick, then just groom a future QB with whoever is left over at #4?
All it tells me is that the Browns intend to be competitive next year which fits their GM personality.
I'm actually wondering if they even go for a QB. Taylor is definitely serviceable, and Browns aren't particularly weak any any position (besides QB). If they get Barkley and someone like Fitzpatrick, that's a pretty good young core.
Exactly the right question to ask. After thinking about it a while, I still say they will draft a QB.
I'd secure my choice at QB, not let other teams dictate who I get from the leftovers. And I'd go Chubb or Edwards or maybe Minkah at S over an RB, personally. I think they get one more year out of Thomas at LT.
Tyrod is a backup and seems be overrated by people who don't see him play. They WILL draft a quarterback. Taylor is just a bridge and a decent backup. Can't believe the Bills got the first pick in the 3rd for Taylor!
