Chris Paul addressed this already he said something like what these people think has nothing to do with him.

 

I've always had reservations about the trade due to Paul's age and how ball dominant Harden is. But to call it a mistake after only one regular season game together(which they won BTW AT GOLDEN STATE!!!) is absurd. Maybe it won't work when all is said and done. Just like the Big Three experiment in OKC could blow up in the Thunder's faces. But maybe we should let the season actually play out first before writing off the Harden-Paul tandem. Especially given that the team is off to a 2-0 start.

CP3 was a media darling before he became a Rocket. Now we have the entire national media drawing conclusions off of one game that he was injured in, played decent outside of scoring, AND WE WON! Yet somehow its already a failure... Theres actual reports of his injury, but nobody is taking it into account when they talk about the first game.

P.S. Barkley picked the Clippers to make the Western Conference Finals last night... I guess beating Lonzo's Lakers is more impressive than beating the champs???

I just don't automatically assume these players are better than Mike. Mike is a baaaadd man. Don't get it twisted. He's not just the good player that nobody knows. There are very few players that are as efficient as he is, with defense, protecting the basketball, running the team and scoring.
Mike does this better than just about everybody.
Harden, westbrook have such high usage rates, and they have high turnover rates also because 90 percent of the plays they decide whether they want to share with teammates or take it themselves.
