This is the same idiot that was proven to have been making up trade rumors and lost his job at ESPN.

How does his opinion hold any weight at all?

everyone wants to jump to conclusions based on 1 game against the best team in NBA history and a game where Chris was not even healthy.

    After one game? Injured? Really?

Did he say the same when his role model LeBron joined the Heat and they struggled at first? Even after several Heatles only meetings?

What about Durant when he was scoffed at by Curry and yelled at by Draymond ... DURING the final moments of a close game?

The media is a joke. Houston needs to start its own sports media outlet to counter the bias dumbness evident and apparent in every national media program. In fact, I bet every “small market” team could use one. I’m down to start a network. No personnel with a big market bandwagon childhood allowed.

I mean we BEAT Golden State on their Oscar night. With a limited Chris Paul playing his first real game with the Rockets. And it’s a big mistake?!

Good... good... this is when we know Rockets will succeed and Chris Paul will fit. Lebron and Wade weren't suppose to fit either.

Seriously, the media and fans jumping all over this is ridiculous. One ****ing game, the very 1st game, a win against the superduperteam NBA champs, a combined 21 assist, and it's immediately a broken pairing that will never work.

    Asshats! Asshats everywhere!

I love at the end how he says he may not get the max. Morey already said at media day he was so happy to have signed Paul to a 6 year deal already.

The real issue here is that you'll have millions of "NBA" fans taking to Twitter and agreeing with this shitbag only because it's sensationalist drivel that appeals to their most basic emotions. The fact that he has an audience at all is the real problem here.

Broussard must have had one eye on the 4 points. If he would just focus his other eye on the rest of CP3’s stat line instead of it going rogue looking at multiple sauces, he would see the good game. 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 turnover. Also, 1 W. He sparked the comeback.

Tired of the drivel-producing narratives. It’s why ESPN is losing steam. They’ll be gone soon enough with that crap strategy. In a world where it’s almost required to be transparent and genuine, ESPN will lose. Leave the fairy tales to Mickey.

This will be the narrative all year, regardless of result.

This narrative that Chris Paul only works when he pounds the ball and runs everything on his own is dumb.

That approach doesn't create a successful team, and has proven time and time again to be unsuccessful.

Props to Chris Paul for recognizing this, acknowledging a better winning situation, and doing his best to fit into that situation.

Bill Simmons said similar things on his podcast, everyone is looking to have the hot take and the default position is to **** on the Rockets.

He also claimed Paul's defense has been overrated for two years. Strange, never heard that while he was in LA... Wonder what's changed??

Then 5 minutes later Simmons started talking up OKC's chances, saying they would be less worried about Houston after they beat GSW.

It's almost as if they had this narrative all ready to go and everyone is just running with it even though Houston flipped the script and stole one on ring night.
