For those saying KG would be perfect, it sounds like you haven't followed his season so far. He has truly been awful. His FG% on the season is 37%!!! I think he's reached his limit.

uh oh,sounds like the injuries Yao Ming suffered.

He played the entire game? Big men should have their PT limited.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking. What do you think about Pierce playing the 4? He's been playing well lately. Pierce and Plumlee and/or Teletovic for Lin, Asik, & D-Mo (and maybe Brewer or Garcia). Pierce is a huge expiring contract which would give us room to sign a max player this off-season. We could go after 2 of:

    1) Monroe
    2) Deng
    3 Stephenson
    4) Dirk (a long shot, but he wants might want to contend and he understands the benefits of no state income tax).
    5) Pau Gasol
    6) Amir ($7 million team option)
    .....Varejao, Gortat, Hawes...
    and,
    Granger for 2 years/8 million
    Humphries for a few million

Plan A would be to scare the Nets into trading us Millsap. Plan B is make the trade and use the $15-$18 million in cap space (depending on who else we take back) to build a legit team.

I just hope the Nets don't get greedy and ask for Parsons.

The Pierce expiring angle makes some sense to me. The question is how confident Morey is in the team's ability to attract a 2014 big name free agent.

Also, this is yet another reason to believe that you should never acquire aquatic based NBA players. Recently, so many of them have been more trouble than they are worth: John Salmons, Brandon Bass, Austin Rivers, Brook Lopez, Derek Fisher. Even Aaron Brooks has not been good since 2010-11. Russell Westbrook is the best one, but even he suffered an untimely injury.

He still would be good for defensive purposes.
Maybe off the bench and he can still make the jumper.
Of course he aint playing like a star.

The first time I heard that KG despises Dwight.

KG liked Ray Allen before he went to the Heat. But I think that's just some momentary sentiments.

KG doesn't like Dwight you can see it when they have played each other.

But if they became teammates I think they could make it work.

With that said I don't know why some think KG would be perfect or great for this team. He has been terrible when he has played.

Because he is on a terrible team? Last time he was on a winning team he contributed. I know he is old but not entirely done.

Well he is one of the reasons they are terrible.

Dude has dropped off, but a lot of the blame has to go onto the revolving door lineup and coaching ineptitude.

KG can do everything Asik was asked to, this year.

Most nba draft experts. Chad ford said we made a huge mistake because hes "never going to be a PG in the nba" Bill Simmons clowned Presti for taking him at 4. Every single mock draft had Lopez going #4 and Westbrook going between #8-10 . Boy were they all wrong. Lopez made his first all star team last yr. Westbrook has been a perinnal all star the last 4 seasons.
