Everyone trying to make a name for themselves in the sports writing world is all of a sudden an expert on the Rockets. I won't listen/read that story but it's literally my favorite way for other people to waste their time.
My sources say that State Farm's ad agency is working on a new campaign where Harden and CP3 hate each other so much, they damage each other's homes and cars. The feud escalates until Oscar catches a live grenade that CP3 has thrown, blowing him to little pieces. At that point, the two stars decide to make up. Except they start arguing on what kind of funeral to arrange, and the whole thing starts up again.
Really hard to take anyone seriously when talking about intangibles like "clean the slate" unless that person is the player themselves. Even coaches are prone to this sort of thinking/reasoning, when really it's just about talent and execution. You have it or you don't. Last year was tough because Rockets proved they didn't have talent to stay with healthy Warriors...or Warriors sans Durant. That's a tough pill to swallow. They must now take a sober look in the mirror and determine if they have talent and can good enough execution to beat revamped western conference. It's not about something as intangible as "cleaning the slate." give me a break.
I don't think we can either. Best way to tell is if the board doesn't melt down from a trade open/deadline fizzle. /2piecesaway (optimist)
"The situation with Harden and Cp3 is so bad that Harden has isolated himself in China to avoid Cp3!" - Brian T. Smith
Why does ESPN pick him of all people to talk to? Isn't he just more of a Sports opinion guy like Jerome Soloman was?
you want to fix this stop telling people in june before the draft Fireworks and then stop saying we will be getting star players before we even get to free agency and stop please stop trading picks every year especially 1st round picks that can help build
This could've added to Butler not wanting to sign with Rockets among other reasons..I think CP3 was the only star player that wanted to play with Harden but for maximum contract..but even CP3 couldn't last happily for more than 2 seasons..now he is near untradeable with his contract.
Is Harden seriously still in Asia? Even if Rockets got that meeting with Butler, Harden would have been a Skype call or in MP4 format. wow.
