Maybe the US can contract Mexico to build the wall and then not pay the bill? Thus, Mexico pays for the wall.

I can't tell if you're joking or not, because that sounds like something Trump has done and probably wants to do.

For those that miss it from the OP. The wall would be paid 4x over! Winning.

With a PhD in Biochemistry from Rice University, Joe Wong went on to be working as a stand-up comic,
good enough to be a guest on the Late Show W Stephen Colbert

Trump wants to build a wall to stop immigration. I’m from mainland China,
Chinese know a lot about border walls – they don’t work,”

So a 30 billion dollar wall, plus 4 billion for the panels for 116 million a year in solar production. Plus maintenance...

I work with restaurants and this would not be an approved business model for the expected ROI.

Any of you “conservatives” actual fiscal conservatives?

One thing about Trump I don't like is that I don't think he ever intended to build the wall in the first place imo. At least go through with it.

Step 1: Say we are going to build a wall

Step 2: Never build the wall, but blame the dems

Step 3: Profit by getting reelected to build a wall that you never planned to build in the first place

Oh, I think he fully intended to build the wall and is planning to do so if he can. Goes back to his narcissism; he saw the Great Wall of China and wanted his name associated with something like that for America. “Trump’s Wall” is all that he hears in his head when it comes to this whole boondoggle and is why he keeps pushing it.

This video is painful to watch. He may be a smart guy but he is so bad at delivery and timing. He also has bad punchlines. The audience is laughing and clapping on queue.

Also we don't need to copy the Great Wall which was ineffective. We need to copy the Israeli model.

At a cost of $4 Billion for the solar panel system itself (not including the cost of the actual wall). Approx $100 million in electricity produced per year.

So it would take 40 years to recoup the costs for the solar panels?

Sounds like a Donald Trump business.
