Holy **** look at the first page This poster from 2001 used the word "troll" correctly. Wonder how long it's been in use....
We really need Parsons on the court. From the way we've played these last two games, I don't see us doing very well. vs Golden State vs Orlando @ Portland @ Golden State
We should be able to take one of the Golden State games. Orlando should be easy enough. If Parsons isn't back we are in danger of another 7 game losing streak though, unfortunately.
Incredible... We have two so-called "superstars"... yet our immediate future depends on our third option's availability....
It's not just him, it's also our 4th option as well. If we can get it together defensively we should be able to win games without Chandler. James isn't going to have another game like this for awhile.
You always want consistency from your superstar players! James Harden has been very consistent on the defensive end!
I'm sure Boston would have been fine without Rhondo, and Miami without Bosh too. The Warriors would probably better better off without Iggy, just like the Blazers would sleepwalk into contention sans Batum. The list of successful championship caliber duo's who could take or leave their 3rd best player goes on & on. I mean, does anyone REALLY believe the Thunder need Ibaka, or that the Clippers will miss Redick? Get real.
We're talking about beating the Jazz and Phoenix Suns... not overthrowing the Heat here...... good lord.... Are people just uncomfortable with the notion of no excuses and actual accountability...?
I'm saying that if held to the same standards of accountability you're setting, every one of those teams would have been dismantled before getting a chance to do anything. I'm saying you're one of the many people overreacting. Dropping some games here and there to below .500 teams is typical. There are no exceptions to that historically. Demanding that a overhauled roster not have bad games during their first couple months of playing is ridiculous. Even Jesus had to give an out to the preposterous demands for perfection.
When a team is full of youth and talent and is "lead" by two superstars with deep playoff experience.... but is held back by a lack of accountability and steadiness... Dismantling a team isn't what you first resort to.... Fans like you, don't realize that you're the other extreme of what you decry as irrational.... There is a reasonable middle ground that seeks to address a troubling pattern behind a persistent problem... and rationalizing it with excuses or pretending there is no problem is but the other bookend to mediocrity...
