Canelo will at least try and not mail it in like Donaire did because he was scared to get countered. I think Trout wins 8 rounds and gets ****ed on a SD.

This is Texas. The judges here are more clueless than the Vegas judges.

Like I said earlier, Texas judges are dumber than the judges in Vegas.

Tonight's fight was almost similar to last week's fight between Rigondeaux and Donaire. The difference is how the judges score the fight. If they use the judges from last week's Donaire-Rigondeaux fight, Trout would win over Alvarez. And if the Texas judges tonight are scoring the Rigondeaux-Donaire fight, Nonito would win it.

The fight didn't look unanimous to me. Also not that much fireworks except for rd 7 when he dropped Trout early on but hell no was it unanimous..

I agree. I thought Alveraez still won the fight but only by a round or 2.

That's how I saw it. But because of the partially open scoring, Trout had to take more risks once he knew he was down. I think if he would have kept going as he was in the first few rounds, he would have won. Well...then again, they scored it differently than what I saw with my eyes.

I didn't agree with the scorecards at all, outside of the one that happened to show them closer.

Alvarez landed all of the damaging blows. Most of trouts punches were glancing blows at best. I had Alvarez by 4 rounds plus the knockdown.
