Six-time champion boxer Robert (The Ghost) Guerrero was busted for gun possession Thursday morning while trying to catch a flight at Kennedy Airport, law enforcement sources told the Daily News.

Guerrero, who turned 30 on Wednesday, was headed for Las Vegas when the weapon was found — and he was immediately held at the Port Authority police station at the Queens airport.

Details of the arrest were not immediately released. The exact charges were pending, the sources said.

The 5-foot-9 southpaw fighter is slated to fight reigning WBC welterweight champ Floyd (Money) Mayweather at the Nevada gambling mecca on May 4.

Guerrero, with a career record of 31-1-1 with 18 knockouts, was in New York doing promotions for the big fight. The confident boxer predicted a victory over the undefeated Mayweather before his arrest.

“He’s going to see things in the ring that he’s never seen before,” Guerrero said during a press conference in Manhattan on Tuesday. “And he’s going to be shocked. He’s not going to know what’s going on.”

Guerrerro turned pro at age 18, winning his first title in December 2004 with a knockout of Cesar Figueroa to capture the NABF flyweight championship.

The California fighter has since won another five titles as a flyweight, superflyweight, lightweight and welterweight. Outside the ring, Guerrero tended to his wife Casey after she was diagnosed with leukemia.
