Following the draft, does anyone here think Morey (not you, not me) is likely to pursue a trade for Bosh? (So the question isn't whether he should, but whether he will).

Let's say Bosh for Scola, Lowry and Budd/PPat is on the table.

    - Does Flynn's "potential" make the dealing of Lowry more palatable? How about Lull's development? This is sort of "selling high" on Lowry.

    - Bosh can handle the PF minutes, with MMorris pitching in. MMorris can swing to SF and probably take over, with Lee as backfill. Mebbe Squid if we ever get anything out of him.

    - Is Bosh better or worse value under a lower cap? I tend to think that the scarcity of top level players means that they still get big dollars, and the mid level players will get overpaid by bad GM's and good GM's will pay them less. Essentially the middle class should get squeezed, which puts a premium on paying "good" if not great players.

    - Whatever you think of Bosh, perhaps he helps us land another max type player. You must start with 1 before you get another. Does Bosh have the respect around the league to be a desirable pairing?

    - Perhaps Mmorris or DMontie can develop into a 2nd or 3rd option.

Morey's a smart guy and isn't going to act based on external pressure. But even he has to be feeling a little frustrated that this process of making a big move is taking so long.

I sure hope not. That contract is just horrible.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to have Bosh on this team because he's a max type of player. But now I'd rather not and try and go all out for D. Howard next summer cause their not winning the championship in Orlando. I like what you said about D-Mo developing into the 2nd or 3rd option but I'd rather it be with D. Howard instead. And with the players that we essentially have coming off the books I believe we could build a championship team around him in the first year. While bringing over Sergio Llull to bring into the fold as well. We have all these young players and draft picks for next year, if Morey doesn't push all in for D. Howard then he'll never get a superstar.

No to Bosh something about him i don't like as i don't think he has it to carry teams. He's just skilled, but does not have leadership mentality. Not to mention he's to soft and doesn't seem to be a good motivator.
