Say what you want about his hair or policy, but this man is a gifted speaker.

    He's a piece of garbage.

Also, I don't believe that this whole thing wasn't a stunt.

If he was politically motivated to pull a stunt, I would think that he would claim to test positive, and then act like he's invincible, and go do a triathlon or something. If anything his stunt provided a shock of seriousness that made many on the right pay a bit more attention to this. Which in that case is a positive thing either way.

Boris is a horrible PM, but still far better than our president. He is actually fairly smart, and a bit more pragmatic. Still, his base in the UK will always be the cynical right wing who he'll still need to turnout on his behalf when he needs them. I don't expect that much change politically, but I think at least on this issue, he's changed the nature of the politics of the virus at least in the UK. Here.... we have issues because the right has lost their mind.

One thing this might do is make it much harder to try to privatize parts of the NHS.

Glad he's alright. Was worried when he went to ICU. I'm not exactly a fan, but I certainly don't wish him ill -- and as hard as the crisis is, it'd only get worse if the PM was incapacitated or dead.
