    He'd bring a different dimension to the offense, and obviously he has a connection with MDA. Having just played a season in France, he might not even be too fat.

    I'd go for it. Could be this year's Josh Smith.

    If he's not fat, I would be all over Boris Diaw. He would be a very good back-up if Ryno goes missing.

    Usually I think people overrate available midseason signings because they forget to account for the fact that they have to take minutes from someone. So either they need to be better than the legit NBA players you already have or they need to provide some value in the locker room without ever leaving the bench.

    Diaw is the best name I've heard all year in terms of locker room value, so I'm more interested here than I am in most of the suggestions I've heard. I can't imagine him being particularly useful on the court, but oh well, I'd want him on my team.

    Please no Diaw. I would take Terrence Jones out of the G League right now if the only alternative is Diaw....
