per Craig Sager on TNT. Van Gundy replied that "I don't expect any less from him than of Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming. He's not in shape."

    Trouble in paradise.

I repeat: He will be traded or maxwelled.

If you're waiting to see Bonzi Wells' career as a Houston Rocket, the punch line is, you've already seen it.

JVG should coach a little differently with a guy like Bonzi. Coaching is managing many different people's personality in your team and bringing the best from them, though sometimes there are many problematic players.

basketball IS a marathon, stupid bonzi...

cant trade him his value too low right now, we need to get him in shape and playing, perhaps if he plays well he will motivate TMAC

He better not be traded. A player like Bonzi Wells can help to stop these collapses.

    Bonzi Wells is a playa.
    Bonzi Wells can score.
    Play Bonzi.

This is what rockets fans have been waiting for, a legitimate third scorer.

Any more bad news from TNT?

First T-Mac and now Bonzi. Is the next story about Yao planning to leave the Rockets to play for China year-round?

    He won't be traded...

What are you gonna give up to get a disgruntled 2 mil one year Bonzi?

I'm sorry but I'd rather Bonzi sit for the first half of the season and maybe have a chance to help down the stretch than pick up another Ryan Bowen...

Van Gundy acts like he's coaching high school or college. Fact is, Bonzi would be helping us right now.

He just HAS to make his point. He acts like his ego is the only one that matters.

Do what's best for the team Gundy

He can score. As much as I think Head and Snyder are doing pretty well, I know they are overachieving.

But seriously, Barkley never stopped eating (or drinking) and he still played pretty well.

At least we pulled out this win though . . . Play Bonzi!

At what point do the agents realize they need to slap their client across the face and ask them if they want Derrick Coleman's or Isiah Rider's career? No one hands out a good contract if a guy shows the world he's as much a headcase as everyone thinks he is?

Get on the damn exercise bike, quit ordering Papa Johns, and make yourself worth the $10 mill a year you think you're due.

Bonzi's not in shape. So LIMIT his minutes. Does he REALLY have to be inactive? Chubs like Michael Sweetney out there, Jerome James about to come back, Eddie Curry and Mo Taylor playing and Bonzi's the exception that needs to be sat down so he can round into shape.

First Bonzi needs to be in better shape....(whats he doing, reporting to the team nutritionist to get his evaluation?). Then when JVG deems him ready to be active, Bonzi will then need to get into GAME shape....And then cuz he's been out so long and minutes lessened he'll need to pick up the playbook and prove he can blend in with what's going on court, so it'll be about midseason before Bonzi can be 'worthy' of being a Rocket.
    Please.

Sorry I feel the need to rant . . .

Van Gundy is making him come to the arena to ride a **expletive** **expletive** bike!?!? WTF?!?!? Let him play his lazy **expletive** into shape! At least he would be helping the **expletive** team out! Put him on the **expleteive** **expletive** court and run! Tell him to go out there and not take a **expletive** **expletive** shot or he gets back on the **expletive** **expletive** bike!! **expletive** expletive**!!!!!

Bonzi and Barkley DO have that same attitude, and that's why Barkley never won a ring. Talented, but no discipline at all.

About Bonzi, if the guy is too friggin' stupid and dimwitted not to realize that if you don't buy into JVG's system then you don't play, then it's his own damn fault not seeing the court. Let him rot on the Inactive List. First you turn down a fat contract (no pun intended), then your butting heads with a coach known for his OCD disciplinary tendencies. Damn Bonzi, you really are a smart guy.
