Yeah on horrible teams defensively that had no real chance of winning/contending and were constantly in full comeback mode. Please tell me you don't think he was freakin Brett Favre out there.
They're Super Bowl winning QBs, they get more rope blah blah blah Must be nice to **** the bed and not get any blame, ha. Good QBs on "lousy teams", ha .Yeah, stuff no one said before the season, not for the Giants anyways. PIttsburgh/Roethlisberger is more understandable. They weren't great last year. (I didn't think they would be this year.) Their offensive line has been **** for years now. Defense has gotten old(er). Giants a "lousy" team. Yeah, easy to say that now, now that they're 0-6.
Well, I'll tell you, it sure was good to see Matt be his old self out there today. Aside from that one fumble recovery (and I'll need to look at the tape on that before I say anything else), he did what he had to do to get us where we needed to be. Oh, of course, he's starting next week. What do you mean? Matt's always been our starter. Oh no, don't let the fact he didn't throw for any touchdowns fool you. We had a game plan, and Matt stuck to it. I'm awfully proud of Matt, and I'm awfully proud of the whole team. Goshdarnit.
I blame Andre Johnson honestly... If he hadn't tackled that second interception from behind... We would have a new QB. It's all on AJ. Sarcasm. Or is it?
I feel like it was that first New England game last year that was the beginning of the end for our boy... I was actually not sure if ANY of the Texans would ever play again after that game... he/they got exposed SO badly...
Technically, it was the second half of the 2012 @Titans game where Schaub/Kubiak started the decline. The team had large lead in the first half but didn't score a offensive TD at all in the second half and wouldn't again until the second half of the Patriots game. The offense while getting decent yards, never recovered had problems scoring touchdowns until the Patriots game where it can be argued the defense let them had those when the game was out of reach. San Diego made it look like things had been fixed but the interceptions he seems to throw since the last Colts game of 2012 seem to have just gotten worst. Schaub is on the decline, Kubiak is trying to be the nice guy but nothing short of beating a legit contender will get most people to believe otherwise and likely the pressure to ball out against a weaker opponent will cause him to make another mistake this Sunday.
my friends and i love when someone throws five picks in a game. from the madden franchise pat summerall: i think its time to pull him
The Texans is run-first offense, their only way to get touchdowns is by running the ball, by the end of last season their offense was exposed and Kubiak's strategy was very predictable.
Whatever the reason, it is cowardly not to deal with it and bench the guy. It is about winning, not hurting feelings, if he is not the same player, then let him backup TJ. DD
