    Bill Simmons trying to show the world he's on what's level.

    “Maybe like $96 million [in space] for the four guys,” Simmons says. “LeBron takes less. LeBron takes $20 because they secretly promise him 2 percent of the team after he retires. He’ll make up the money. $20 million, so he leaves, let’s say, $75 million for the other three. They split it up, $25 million a piece. And the 2018 Lakers — John Wall, LeBron, Paul George, Brandon Ingram, Boogie, and Lonzo off the bench. That’s something.”

    Jeez he's just getting more annoying.
    Between his annoying voice, his Boston homerism(which we all know already) and the fact that his podcasts imo have more ads than any other podcast I listen to. So many effing ads and then the ads on his podcasts are always the longest. Can't stand his pod anymore.


    But the one with Morey and Iovine was good.

    I still like Simmons after all these years. But he has a bunch of misses as well as hits just like anyone who makes bold predictions.

    In 2003, in one of his columns he said he "heard a rumor" Jordan after his wizards stint would sign with the lakers for the vet minimum.

    In 2004 he couldn't believe Dwight Howard was better than Okafor

    Hell in 2002, he basically said Yao over Jay Williams would go down with Bowie over Jordan as all time mistakes

    However, he was correct in bashing OKC about the Harden trade as soon as it went down, also about the Bucks screwing up by not drafting Chris Paul and he was a kawhi fan from the start.

    Lebron to the lakers is very possible. I'm not sure about Boogie and Wall.

    The trick is getting 4 max players to not take the max? That's a solid team of underpaid players. Players who have no real history of taking less for the team. And with LeBron taking a percentage of the franchise under the table? Really. Stupid to even say it. I'd rather start Lonzo and ask LeBron/Boogie/George to split 96 million and keep it over the table.
