I had always thought, but maybe I'm wrong, that Hector suffered from some sort of degenerative disease. In flashback scenes in BB, and at the coffee shop in BCS when he confronted Mike, there were subtle signs of motor skill loss (stiff walking, difficulty locating and picking up his coffee mug).

    Well . . .. Jimmy will lose his name . . .somewhere.
But yea . . . Jimmy will beat Chuck in the one place Chuck thinks he is supreme . . .. the court of law.

If anything, we should be OK with slower-moving scenes in a TV show b/c of its length. There are a LOT of people who think 2001 A Space Odyssey, The Shining, Once Upon a Time in the West, Taxi Driver, The Rear Window, and The Third Man are slow, boring films- and say "Why do they watste . I respectfully disagree.

Breaking Bad is like the Godfather of TV shows. Better Call Saul is like Mean Streets, or Once Upon a Time In America, or Casino. Not as good as The Godfather, but very good in their own right.

Yes, it'll be interesting to see WHY the name-change occurs. Is it because "Jimmy McGill" is a thing of the past, and he wants to move on from that life entirely......or is it because he HAS to, in order to continue to be able to practice law? Also, remember, BB takes place primarily in Albuquerque, and so far, BCS has taken place entirely in Santa Fe. That move also has to take place somewhere, correct?

I believe the only part of BCS set in Santa Fe was when Jimmy was working at Davis & Main. Everything else has been in ABQ.

What if we find that, after all this time, Chuck is really a robot and that his condition is simply a matter of a growing malfunction?

Robots do us mankind better favors than being a pain in the arse to one's brother and alienating one's wife.

Almost his entire shelf life. Maybe one of those models that does not feel a thing, does not have sentimental emotions.

Like this Twilight Zone episode; at the end of the season, Jimmy rips off his face to discover he's a robot- but unlike this robot, who was chanting, "Cory. Cory. Cory.", Chuck will be saying "Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy." Just like their dying mom. Brilliant!

Finally watched latest episode. I loved how they brought Gus back. He was out of focus and in the background sweeping, then slowly came became more prevalent in the shot. Nicely done.

Stupid question - who was the guy in the black Escalade? Should I know who he is?

Gus's number 1, Victor, who tried to prove that he could recreate Walt's formula. Gus ended up slitting his throat because the batch wasn't as good and he had been seen at Gale's (Walt's assistant assigned to him by Gus) place after Gale was shot by Jesse, thus implicating him.

I thought the twist was always going to be that Saul has always been "bad" - but finally gets redemption post-flashback in the Cinnabon era somehow.

I always assumed he picked it because it's a Jewish name and he wanted to appear more legitimate as a lawyer.

It is a downward spiral. With the name he becomes a clownish and criminal lawyer.

there was an episode of BB where he says he picked that name b/c the "homies" like to say they have a jewish lawyer.

and for the first time i found my self on sunday thinking that some of those scenes were unnecessarily drawn-out. the criticisms on here are starting to affect my viewing of the show...and yall might have a valid point!....arrghhh!

Perhaps but I enjoy the drawn out and how it is well done times infinity compared to The Walking Dead.

I agree completely with this.. last episode seemed very predictable to me. Especially how they introduced Gus back into the mix.

Maybe I just need to stop watching previews for the following weeks' episode.
